Snap Happy

Back in December, I had some product photos taken by local photographer Claudia Rowley.

She did a fantastic job of capturing the textures of the wool and the tweeds. I used my brother and sister-in-law to model some of my winter items and Claudia knew just how to put them at ease and get them to relax into the shoot.

You can see more of Claudia's work on her Facebook page

Here are a few of my favourite pictures:

I will be attending an evening craft fair at West Jesmond Primary School on the 27th November.

Around 30 businesses will be selling jewellery, bags, cards, scarves, pictures, crafts and much more. In addition there will be an opportunity to be pampered by local beauticians.  Admission £3 on the door which includes a glass of wine! Doors open 7pm-9pm

I will be there with a selection of bowties and knitted goodies.
Come along and say hi.

Gateshead Heritage Vintage Fair

On Sunday I attended a vintage and handmade craft fair at St Mary's Heritage Centre in Gateshead. The venue was absolutely gorgeous!

There was a great mix of stalls; some vintage clothes, some good old fashioned chutneys and jams, one stall-holder had her spinning wheel going all morning!

I set up with my sister-in-law next to me

Here's some of my happy customers sporting my Tweed bow ties and brooches

We had a great day. We met lots of lovely talented people and had loads of fun being there. I'm looking forward to the next one!
